Well, Hello Little Red Shoes

My heart skipped a beat when I saw these red shoes, and I don’t even like high heels! These beauties are the latest from indie designer Emily Katz. She uses found objects like lace to create beautiful patterns and textures on vintage shoes. Currently she has a small collection of heels, flats, and boots in her SE Portland studio. Prices range from $40 – $80.
It must be fate . . . the red ones are in my size!

OK. I am with you about heels, usually. Hate ’em. But these are, in fact, adorable. There is something in the air cuz usually I am so bohemian but I am loving the ladylike!
Casual flats are my usual, but there is something so appealing about these heels (like how perfect they would go with dark skinny jeans). The cream and black ones shown above are truly stunning, too. Anyone a size 10? Better race down to Emily’s studio located at 811 E. Burnside!
The MS thing has ruined my ability to wear heels. I guess if they are low enough I may be able to pull it off! I have been looking for red shoes for months and these might work. I’m a size 10.
