This is Yana and yes she’s super cute

il_430xn588013111Yana’s collections are one of my favorites. I own three of her tops now and constantly get stopped and asked the story…they’re made out of old button-up shirts, some with the sleeves still attached and re-made into a collar.

A bit more about Yana
Yana Gorbulsky started Supayana in 2002 in Brooklyn, NY. She currently lives with her boyfriend and two cats in Montreal, Quebec. Supayana does mostly small runs or one-of-a-kind peices, so you will always be getting something special. The majority of the pieces are made by the designer and the rest are made locally in Montreal. The line currently consists of 100% recycled materials- being deadstock vintage, salvaged fabrics, or repurposed clothing. Constantly evolving as a person and designer, she hopes you can see the reflection in her work.

    Hehe Korinne, you’re cute!

Thank you again for thinking of me for this recycled clothing trunk show…

One of my etsy customers just emailed me today saying she saw me on Olio United 🙂 Yay!
