Sandra Haischberger’s love affair with porcelain began when, uninspired by the thought of continuing her career as a teacher, she took a course on ceramic wheel throwing. Finally inspired, Sandra attended Vienna’s University of Applied Arts, focusing on design with an emphasis on ceramics.  Sandra went on to work in interior design, but felt her attention pulled by the porcelain she created on the side.  Fortunately for the many fans who’ve found her gorgeous work, she chose to focus on the porcelain.  A few years and a couple of studio upgrades later, she hasn’t grown tired of her medium. “I still like this very versatile and challenging material,” she claims, “because it is so beautiful and sometimes also very difficult to work with.”

Her lighting is both ethereal and striking with handcrafted details, making each piece unique. We now have Feinedinge’s best selling moonstruck lamp, new stella lights, and sweet wall light available online, with more to come. (And keep your eye out for a special feature on Sandra and her beautiful storefront in Vienna in the very special gift guide we’ve been working on!)
